Fewest Shots Pool / How to play
How to play.
One pool table a day, the same for everyone. Clear it in as few shots as you can.
Taking a shot
- Press anywhere on the table and drag back. The cue lines up behind the cue ball, pointing the opposite way to your drag.
- The further you drag, the harder the shot. The power shows under the table.
- The dotted line shows where the cue ball goes, and the blue line shows where the first ball it hits will head.
- Release to shoot. To cancel, drag back towards where you started and let go.
Scoring
- Pot every ball, in any order. Every shot counts as one.
- Pot the cue ball and it's a scratch: that shot costs two, and the cue ball goes back on its spot.
- Each table has a par, a fair target for that layout. Finish under par to beat it.
Each day
- Your first go at the day's table is the one that counts. Once it's cleared, the table locks until tomorrow.
- Post your score to the board to see how it compares, and share your shot card: 🟢 potted something, ⚪ potted nothing, 🔴 scratch.
- A new table arrives at midnight, your local time.
